David Sanders, a graduate of the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, was one of the original main artists throughout the years of Blue Hair Productions’ existence. Blue Hair Productions was born in the early 1990s. We were all about music-driven design—counterculture humor and wacky parodies splashed across tees and stickers. If it made you laugh, think, or turn the volume up a little higher, it belonged in our world—a nod to misfits, music lovers, creatives, and anyone who believed that art should be worn, shared, and occasionally get you into trouble.

Today, Blue Hair Productions is back—revived by David Sanders and reconnecting with that original spirit while reimagining it for a new generation. The same love for music culture, the same playful rebellion, attitude—just sharpened, and refreshed. This revival is about honoring where we came from while continuing to evolve. Still loud. Still weird. Still funny. Still independent.
